Post-construction cleanup in Orlando, FL
Contractors build; they do not detail-clean. After a remodel or new build, everything is coated in fine construction dust — inside cabinets, on window sills, in vents, on every horizontal surface. Our post-construction cleanup removes it all, in the right order, so the space is actually move-in ready instead of just broom-clean.
Dust is the whole job
Construction dust is different from household dust: finer, everywhere, and it resettles for days. We work top to bottom — ceilings, fans, and light fixtures first, then walls and trim, then surfaces, then floors last — and we vacuum with HEPA filtration before any wet wiping, so dust gets captured instead of smeared. One pass is rarely enough on heavy jobs; we plan for the detail pass that actually finishes it.
What gets cleaned
Every room: dust removal from all surfaces, vents, and fixtures; window and glass cleaning including stickers and paint specks; cabinet and drawer interiors wiped; bathroom and kitchen fixtures detailed; floors vacuumed and mopped, often twice. We also remove the small debris contractors leave behind — tape, labels, protective film — and haul out light trash.
For homeowners and contractors
Homeowners book us after kitchen and bath remodels, additions, and flooring jobs. Contractors and builders book us for final cleans before handover or listing photos — a dusty new build photographs badly and shows worse. Either way, the goal is the same: the work looks finished because it is finished.
How It Works
Step 1 — The rough clean. We remove the big debris, stickers, and protective films. Construction dust is everywhere — this pass gets the worst of it.
Step 2 — The detail clean. Every surface gets wiped down, often twice. Dust settles into everything during construction: vents, light fixtures, window tracks, cabinets. We get it all.
Step 3 — Windows and glass. Stickers off, paint specks scraped, frames wiped. New windows should look new.
Step 4 — Bathrooms and kitchen. Grout haze removed from tile, fixtures polished, appliances detailed inside and out. Construction bathrooms get the full reset.
Step 5 — Floors and final. Hard floors mopped until the mop water runs clear. Carpets vacuumed thoroughly. Final walkthrough with the project manager.
Built for Orlando Construction
Orlando builds constantly — new homes, renovations, and commercial projects. Construction dust in Florida is extra fine and gets into everything, including the HVAC. Our post-construction checklist covers the spots other cleaners miss: inside cabinets, on top of door frames, in the window tracks.
We coordinate with your timeline. The cleanup happens after the punch list, not before — cleaning too early just means doing it twice. Tell us the handover date and we schedule backward from it.
Dust Is the Enemy
Construction dust is unlike normal dust. It is finer, it is everywhere, and it resettles for days. Our post-construction process accounts for this: we clean, we wait for resettling, and we do a final wipe of horizontal surfaces. One pass is never enough after construction. We plan for two.
Do not forget the exterior. Construction tracks mud and debris around the whole property. We blow off walkways, wipe down exterior fixtures, and make the approach look finished. Curb appeal matters on handover day.
We also detail the mechanical room and utility areas. Construction dust coats water heaters, HVAC units, and electrical panels. Wiping these down is not just cosmetic — dust on equipment shortens its life. A complete handover clean covers the whole house, not just the pretty rooms.
